  1. Finish and turn in vocabulary and three paragraphs for the Upfront article: Unsafe Behind the Wheel.
  2. Email your parents to tell them how your first two weeks of school have been.
  3. Finish other homework; get help with the writing portions.

At the Bell..... go to the board and write your idiom with your first name below it. 
How about driving laws in China?

 Let's read this article about China's new 5-Year Action Plan to improve the nation's driving environment. 

  • Which parts of the plan do you think are most important?
  • If you returned to China next week and were forced to drive on a daily basis, what are the top three laws you would hope to have the general driving population follow. Why would each of these three be most important in keeping you safe?

  Hint: you may want to use some of the laws stated in the Upfront Article: Unsafe Behind the Wheel or this article about China's plan.
