Ch.8 Word Forms
Why study these? Because word forms are often part of the last "polishing" of your language skills that makes you sound truly fluent.
  1. Begin on page 103-104. Highlight any words that are new or unknown to you. 
  2. Get my Quizlet list called "Word Forms." Study and play.
  3. Do Exercise 1 (pg.105)
  4. Use Quizlet lists "Word Forms Practice" and "Word forms Matching" to study for a quiz tomorrow (only the list on pages 103-104).

Wednesday 3/25 ~ Can you trouble-shoot trouble prepositions?

Due: Preposition sentences. 

Based on our discussion, it seems that there are some very specific preposition problems that we need to address. Today you will be placed in a group of 3. Together, you and your partners will create a game that teaches these specific rules and provided practice for other students to use their knowledge of prepositions.

Game Requirements:
*The whole class must be able to play the game together. (at least 12-15 practice sentences/questions)
*The game must have some sort of visual screen or board, etc...
*The game must teach everything on your page linked below.

Second: Using the lists from the Top 20 book, you and your team mates will create a game to help us remember the preposition list and how to use them.

     Team 3: Prepositions of Direction or Movement (pgs.95-96)

Most of you know what a preposition is, but we need more practice. For this, we will break up into groups of three. You will create a scavenger hunt made of clues using all of the prepositions.
*You will hide the clues around campus between the volleyball court and the cafeteria.
*Full boundaries will be discussed in class.
*Your team will then follow the clues of another team.

Most creative and correctly written scavenger hunt will receive a prize for the team.
